The young adolescent (11 to 15 years old) is in a state of growth and transformation, leaving childhood and beginning preparation for adulthood. They are developing a greater sense of autonomy, self-discipline and responsibility. This period of maturation is characterized by: an inner drive to be connected to one's peers and one's society; a new interest in exploring adult vocations and responsibilities; and a yearning for independence.

Our program is specifically designed to support adolescent students as they face new challenges and explore new possibilities. We offer a safe, nurturing community of adults and young people joined together to support the learning and development of the students. Our students acquire a sense of self-worth and self-esteem that will shape who they will be for years to come.

Pacific Crest Middle School is the adolescent program of Pacific Crest School.
